How we use cookies

On the 26th May 2011 the law governing the use of cookies changed.  This site uses cookies.

A cookie is a small file created when a user's browser loads a particular web page.  A cookie asks permission to be placed on your computer's hard drive. Once you agree, the file is added and the cookie helps analyse web traffic or lets you know when you visit a particular site. Cookies allow web applications to respond to you as an individual. The web application can tailor its operations to your needs, likes and dislikes by gathering and remembering information about your preferences.

From the 26th May, before a cookie is installed on your computer informed consent is required unless the cookie is necessary.

Data Discoveries are currently updating our cookies policy to comply with the new law.  If you have any questions regarding this please contact Nicola Smith, Marketing Manager on 0131 555 1100.
