Meridian Services was formed in 1992 and specialise in tracing. Over 95% of traces conducted are for debt recovery. Clients are typically financial service organisations. Meridian Services have a team of Enquiry Agents who tracing individuals or businesses in the UK and abroad. For clients, having as much information as possible about an individual speeds up the debt recovery process.
In 2002 Meridian Services became a Data Discoveries customer after a trial of Namesys increased successful traces by 30%. At the time Namesys was a disk product, updated quarterly. These updates were more frequent than other suppliers’. Switching to Namesys was an easy choice.
Today Meridian Services use Fastrac to successfully trace absconders. Fastrac is Data Discoveries tracing software. It has a unique backtrack-fastrac search to trace absconders using their last known address. Fastrac includes a wealth of data; Deceased, Gone-away, Insolvency, Consented Telephone Numbers and 16 years of historic name and address data. This data helps build a picture of the debtor, the more information the faster the debt recovery process.
Despite evaluating competitive products Fastrac remains Meridian Services’ preferred tracing software.
