Dear Contact

You may have heard that Data Discoveries is now a wholly owned subsidiary of GB Group.

These are exciting times for our team and our customers.

GB Group is a global leading Identity Management business. GB helps organisations to recognise and verify all elements of an individual’s identity at every interaction.

The group has four complementary identity offerings:
•    ID Verification
•    ID Customer Registration
•    ID Marketing Services
•    ID Tracing Services

As a GB Group company we will be able to strengthen our software and services, and accelerate product development, whilst increasing our product portfolio to meet the needs of our customers.

Watch this space for more information about the benefits to our customers.

Again, thank you for your continued custom.

Together we can win the fight against ‘junk mail’

A recent edition of Panorama entitled ‘Why Hate Junk Mail’ reported on the issues surrounding junk mail and scam mail.

Junk mail is not a term Data Discoveries or those in the direct marketing industry recognise.  We agree that the delivery of untargeted mail is totally unacceptable and is something the industry should work to reduce.  Untargeted mail annoys consumers and is a waste of precious resources for the businesses which use it.

Our clients use targeted, relevant direct mail to promote their business with great results.  By using View you can ensure that your direct mail is targeted and relevant to the recipient reducing the chance of it being deemed ‘junk mail’.  View accounts are free (with no obligation to buy) and show you the demographic of your data (age, life stage, financial status) – helping you to target your direct mail more effectively.

To find out more about targeting your direct mail and the fight against ‘junk mail’, request a callback or contact us.

Be one of the first to use subtrAction and National Deceased Register with Data Discoveries

This quarter we integrated subtrAction and National Deceased Register into our products to help companies identify individuals who have moved or died, reducing errors and saving money.

subtrAction will identify individuals who have moved house and National Deceased Register highlights those who are deceased, so that they can be removed from your database.

The addition of these files means customers can access 12 suppression files to identify individuals who have moved, died or do not want to be contacted.  This will help ensure your database is accurate and that returns are reduced.

The new data is already available in View.  Why not carry out a free, no obligation data audit to see how many more deceased or goneaway files you will identify.

Back office improvements to support growth

Last quarter we reported a record breaking month of data processed through View.  Our other products are also experiencing an increase in users.  As a result, the technical team has been working hard to improve our infrastructure and processes to support our continued growth.
