Public ‘has nothing to fear from private benefit probes’

David Cameron's announcement that the Government will be seeking assistance from external data specialists to hunt down fraudulent benefit claimants should not alarm the general public, states David Aitken, Technical Director of Data Discoveries. He tells The Scotsman's David Maddox:

"All the information we use has been collected with the consent of individuals."

This contoversial plan by the Prime Minister claims that £5.2billion could be saved every year by verifying that those receiving state benefits are really eligible.
