The article "The ten weirdest things lost in the post" makes light of a problem that Data Discoveries are all too familiar with and one which our business was built to resolve. 

It said "Every week about 600,000 pieces of mail are unable to be delivered because they are so badly addressed or packaged, while 25,000 letters posted have only the recipient's name printed on them. "

What the article didn't mention is the cost of undelivered mail to UK business. Taking a conservative 25% to be badly addressed business mail that's 150,000 items every week.  Which is nearly £4 million lost to businesses every year* (based on 50p mailing costs)
